As part of the nationwide Measles Rubella and Vitamin A Campaign, the Bono East Regional Health Directorate successfully kicked off the campaign on 2nd October 2024.
The Regional Minister visited to monitor the launch of this critical campaign aimed at vaccinating children and providing them with essential Vitamin A supplements.
The campaign, running from 2nd to 6th October 2024, covers all 11 districts in the region, ensuring that children from 9 months to 59 months receive the necessary immunizations and supplements.
The initiative also included social mobilization and collaboration with local stakeholders, including education directors, district teams, and school head teachers.
With the strong commitment of our health teams and the support of the community, we’re excited to report a smooth start in all districts, thanks to the hard work and dedication of everyone involved.
