Mission
The Bono East Regional Coordinating Council exists to facilitate the overall development of the Region through effective monitoring and evaluation of programmes and plans of its Assemblies, Departments, Agencies and Development partners.

To provide effective and efficient administration and technical backstopping to the Assemblies and Departments of the Bono East Regional Coordinating Council.

Functions of the RCC
- Monitor, coordinate and evaluate performance of the Municipal and District Assemblies.
- Monitor the use of funds allocated to the Assemblies by Central Government and its agencies as well as internally generated funds.
- Review and coordinate public services; maintain security and public safety in the Region.
- Harmonize development plans of Assemblies.
- Provide technical backstopping to the Assemblies.
- Approve by-laws of the District Assemblies.
- Exercise oversight responsibility for second-cycle educational institutions and Regional hospitals in the Region on behalf of the Ministries of Education and Health.
- Perform such other functions as may be assigned under any enactment.
