Workers of Zoomlion Ghana limited in the Bono East Region have called for support of all and sundry to help promote quality Sanitation in their environs since cleanliness is next to Godliness.
Speaking at the end of year Thanks Giving Ceremony held at Techiman Central Church of Pentecost at Dwomor a suburb of Techiman; *Mr George Manu the Bono East Regional Zoomlion manager said the programme was to show appreciation to God for his guidance on workers of the Secretariat throughout the year 2022.
Mr Manu outlined some of their challenges as lack of public involvement in promoting quality sanctions, inadequate final deposal site and lackadaisical attitudes of some people in paying for dust bins they have subscribed for
He appealed to all stakeholders to take Sanitation as a shared responsibility to make Bono East one of the cleanest Regions in the Country.
He added that the Recycling Plant under construction at Fiaso is ongoing and asked for the support by paying all outstanding debts owned by Bins subscribers and appealed to stakeholders in the Region especially Techiman to adopt the Pay as you-dup policy to ease the pressure on various when evacuating refuse in their respective areas.
On his part, Hon.Benjamin Gyarko MCE for Techiman Municipal pledged his readiness to support Zoomlion to succeed in terms of providing quality Sanitation to the People of Techiman and Bono East as a whole .
