The Regional Coordinator of the District Road Improvement Programme (DRIP), Mr. Abubakari Sulemana Babs, together with his Municipal and District Directors, paid a courtesy call on the Regional Minister to discuss the progress and challenges of the programme within the region.
During the engagement, the team outlined key operational challenges affecting the effective execution of road improvement projects. In response, the Minister assured them of government’s readiness to collaborate and find practical solutions to address the concerns raised, in order to enhance the delivery of the programme.
The Minister commended the DRIP team for their dedication and the impactful work they continue to undertake in improving road networks across the region. He emphasized the importance of sustained commitment and coordination in strengthening road infrastructure to support economic growth, ease transportation, and improve livelihoods.
The meeting reaffirmed a shared determination to accelerate efforts toward improving road infrastructure and ensuring better connectivity throughout the region.
