The Minister received a courtesy call from the outgoing Regional Director of the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) for the Bono East Region, who formally introduced the newly appointed Regional Director, Mr. Moses Ndebugri, together with members of the management team.
During the meeting, the Minister commended the outgoing Director for his dedicated and invaluable service to the Bono East Region, acknowledging his contributions toward the promotion and development of tourism within the region. His efforts were recognized as instrumental in strengthening the visibility of Bono East as an emerging tourism destination.
The Minister also warmly welcomed Mr. Moses Ndebugri to his new role and expressed confidence in his ability to build upon the existing foundation to further advance the tourism agenda of the region. He encouraged the new Regional Director and his management team to remain focused and innovative in promoting tourism development, deepening collaboration with key stakeholders, and attracting investment into the sector.
Emphasis was placed on the need to leverage the unique cultural heritage, natural attractions, and hospitality of the Bono East Region to enhance its contribution to national development and the overall growth of Ghana’s tourism industry.
The engagement was cordial and forward-looking, reaffirming a shared commitment to positioning the Bono East Region as a vibrant and competitive tourism hub within Ghana.
