A delegation from the Ministry of Energy and Green Transition has paid a courtesy call to the Bono East Region as part of ongoing engagements with regional authorities. During the visit, the delegation provided a briefing on the Ministry’s operations and interventions currently being undertaken within the region.
The delegation included officials from the unit responsible for compensation disbursement, which has been mandated to compensate selected districts affected by disasters in the region. The briefing highlighted the scope of their work, the affected districts, and the processes involved in ensuring fair and timely compensation to impacted communities.
The engagement provided an opportunity for dialogue on collaboration and coordination to enhance the effective implementation of the Ministry’s programs in the region. The visit reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to supporting affected districts and strengthening disaster response and recovery efforts in the Bono East Region.
