On behalf of H.E. John Dramani Mahama, in collaboration with the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO), relief items were distributed to residents of Nframa in the Sene West District and Kajeji in the Sene East District who were affected by a heavy rainstorm in March.
The intervention forms part of collective efforts to support affected families and assist them in recovering from the impact of the disaster. The relief items included roofing sheets, mattresses, rice, cooking oil, plastic cups, plastic basins, plastic covers, blankets, and other essential household supplies.
Appreciation was extended to the Member of Parliament for Sene West and the Sene West Party Chairman for their additional contributions of relief items to the affected communities, which further strengthened the support provided to residents.
Special recognition was also given to philanthropist and native of Atebubu, Mr. Acheampong Dea (Billy Ocean), and his wife, based in the United States, for their generous donation of 100 bags of cement to support rebuilding efforts in Nframa.
Commendation was further directed to NADMO officials and all stakeholders for their swift response, dedication, and commitment, which brought timely relief and renewed hope to affected residents.
Together, through compassion, unity, and collaboration, support for communities in times of need will continue to remain a priority.
