From 3rd to 5th June 2026, the Bono East Regional Minister undertook a three-day inspection tour of ongoing and proposed road projects across the region to assess progress, engage contractors, and identify challenges affecting project delivery.
The tour covered the rehabilitation of the Techiman–Wenchi and Techiman–Sunyani trunk roads, as well as the upgrading of the Bono Manso–Kranka–Pinhini, Tankor–Fiama–Buabeng–Busunya, Busunya–Bonte–Senya–Bodom, and Yefri–Kranka–Tanoboase feeder roads. It also included inspections of ongoing works on the Jema and Apaaso town roads.
The inspection reaffirmed government’s commitment to improving road infrastructure to enhance transportation, facilitate trade and agriculture, improve access to essential services, and boost economic activities across the region. Contractors were encouraged to maintain high-quality standards, adhere to project timelines, and continue creating employment opportunities through the engagement of local workers.
Under the Resetting Agenda of H.E. John Dramani Mahama, the Bono East Region remains committed to expanding and improving road infrastructure to promote inclusive growth and improve the lives of its people.
Together, we are building a more connected, prosperous, and resilient Bono East Region. #ResettingAgenda #RoadInfrastructure #BonoEast #Development #BuildingTogether
