President John Dramani Mahama is scheduled to take his nationwide “Thank You Tour” to three
“Regions – Bono East, Bono and Ahafo, on Thursday, May 29, Friday, May 30, and Saturday, May 31, respectively.
The “Thank You Tour” is to enable the President to express gratitude to the Chiefs and People of the two Regions for their massive support for him and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2024 general election.
A statement from the Presidency said President Mahama is scheduled to address a durbar of the Chiefs and People of the Bono East Region at Kintampo on Thursday, May 29, at 1400 hours.
He is expected to address a similar durbar of the Chiefs and People of the Bono Region on Friday, May 30, in Sunyani, and wrap up this leg on Saturday, May 31, with a similar durbar at Goaso in the Ahafo Region.
The President will use the various durbars to announce priority development projects intended to create opportunities for the people’s well-being.
The nationwide “Thank You Tour”, which has already taken President Mahama to the Volta, Western, Central, Upper East and Northern Regions, Upper West and Greater Accra Regions, also affords him the opportunity to interact with Ghanaians, reinforce his commitment to addressing their concerns, and promote national development.
